Our company
Budak Kağıt A.Ş. was founded in 1990 as a sole proprietorship by Çetin Osman Budak.
Thanks to its prior professional experience, the company quickly rose to become a leader in the paper market within just one year. In 1991, Budak Kağıt underwent institutionalization and rapidly increased customer satisfaction in the Western Mediterranean region, becoming a key “market maker” in the paper industry.
In 1995, recognizing the synergy between the paper and stationery sectors, Odak Kırtasiye Pazarlama was established as a distributor company to provide wholesale stationery distribution across the Mediterranean and Aegean regions. It was founded as a sister company to Budak Kağıt A.Ş.
Ankara, Konya, Istanbul…
Since its establishment, Odak Kırtasiye Pazarlama has continuously grown and become the leading wholesaler in its region.
In January 2002, in order to provide better service to customers outside its original territory, the company launched its first sales and marketing operation in Ankara, supported by a warehouse.
This growth continued with the opening of regional branches in the following years: Konya in 2003, Istanbul in 2005, Izmir in 2007, Kayseri in 2009, and Mersin in 2011.

IGEPA is a global leader in paper, printing, and copy-related product groups, recognized not only for the quality of its products but also for its exceptional service standards. As a prominent trade and service company in the paper industry, IGEPA continues to set benchmarks worldwide. Founded in Germany in 1960, IGEPA today consists of six paper companies. With an annual turnover of €2 billionand 1.8 million tons of paper production, it serves over 50,000 customers across 26 countries, while providing employment to 3,500 people. In 2008, Budak Kağıt Ticaret entered into a partnership with this industry giant. Since then, it has continued its operations in the paper industry under the name IGEPA Turkey.
